Garmin MapSource is an application that was designed for Windows operating system. According to the official information, the application is available only for this particular environment. There is no information about an Android release.
Thanks, Andrew, for the application. It was impressively simple and quick. After spending several hours on the net trying to find a program without success, I was very impressed. But stage two, getting the GPX file into my Garmin GPSmap 60CSx has caused problems. When I try to open the GPX file in Garmin's Mapsource, I get a message saying that it is not possible to import the file. Any ideas?
Thanks for any suggestions. Cris D.

To tell you honestly, I figured that it has something to do with a device but in this case, things change. Garmin is supposed to recognize certain files, encoded in a different way. You may see two file formats which have the same extension and different content. Well, this happened with your files. Although you are trying to add GPX files to the device, it is supposed to recognize the file but with a different header. Basically, what I am trying to say is that although you convert the file to GPX, it will not always work because of the encoding requirements. Please check the manual to see if Garmin MapSource requires a certain GPX file encoded with specific software or parameters.
I defined 100 way-points with one point being the center (origin). Now, I would like to generate separate routes from the center (origin) point to each of other 99 points. Is there a way to automate this task in order to avoid the manual procedure: select origin + select new way-point + generate route using selected way-points? Also, does MapSource support some kind of programming API such as VBA?

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to automate the process. You will need to create all the routes manually. Also, if you want to make something specific, I suggest you talk to Garmin directly because there are no APIs. You can get in touch with them using the contact information from the official web page.
No, the latest version of Garmin MapSource is not compatible with the DriveSmart65 GPS.
Garmin MapSource" does not come with preloaded maps. Users need to acquire and install maps separately, including the original Canada Maps.
I have a 60CSx that came with MapSource 5.0. Will it work and sync correctly with the latest version?

My GPS12's screen no longer displays. How can I retrieve all my waypoints?
